OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Little Puma Early Learning Centre, we believe early childhood is a time of wonder, discovery, and growth. As a small, close-knit centre catering to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, we embrace the opportunity to provide a personalised and nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
We recognise the importance of strong, secure relationships in shaping a child’s confidence and sense of belonging. Our passionate educators take the time to truly know each child and their family, fostering a home-like atmosphere where trust, respect, and open communication thrive. Through meaningful connections, we create a supportive and inclusive community where every child is celebrated as unique. We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and respect, ensuring that all children feel accepted and empowered. By nurturing emotional intelligence, we help children develop empathy, kindness, and resilience—skills that will support them for life.
Play is at the heart of early learning, and we embrace a curriculum guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Our approach blends child-led exploration with intentional teaching and hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. We believe in the power of outdoor play and movement to support well-being, encouraging exploration, risk-taking, and problem-solving. Children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong connection to their environment by engaging with the natural world.
Families are a child’s first and most important teachers, and we value the partnership between home and our centre. We work closely with families to ensure that each child’s individual needs, culture, and strengths are recognised and supported, creating a true community of learning. At Little Puma Early Learning Centre, we are more than just an early learning space—we are a warm, welcoming, and inspiring place where children can thrive, belong, and grow.
